Image Models

Third-party client configuration

Configure a desktop client that supports custom endpoints to use RouteMarket's image models.

Many desktop clients that support the OpenAI-compatible protocol (multi-model clients in the style of Cherry Studio, for example) allow a custom API endpoint, and can connect directly to RouteMarket's image generation models.

Setup steps

  1. Open the client's "Model Services" or "Providers" settings page.
  2. Add a new custom provider, type "OpenAI-compatible".
  3. Set the API endpoint to https://api.routemarket.ai/v1.
  4. Set the API key to your API token.
  5. Manually add the image model name to the "Models" list (e.g. routemarket-image-default — check the console's model list for the actual name).
  6. Save, switch to the image generation panel, and test with a prompt.

Troubleshooting

  • If the client reports "model not found", verify the model name matches what's shown in the console.
  • If generation fails, check that your token's group includes access to image models — see Model Marketplace.
